July has been an action-packed month for us at Buidly. We’ve been hard at work improving our existing projects, exploring new technologies, and connecting with the wider crypto community. Here’s a detailed look at what we’ve been up to.
Turbocharging OneDex_X
Based on community feedback, we’ve made significant upgrades to OneDex, our community DEX on MultiversX. High traffic periods used to be a problem, but those issues have now been fixed, ensuring a smoother experience. We’ve also added a price indexer, which greatly improves performance and token price accuracy.
Taking over an existing codebase is always a big test, but we took on this challenge with OneDex and managed to push the dApp to the next level. Here’s what’s changed:
• Swaps are now 40 times faster.
• Staking speeds have increased 25-fold.
• Farms are 12 times faster.
• Pools operate 16 times quicker.
• The dashboard performance has improved 24 times over.
These enhancements mean a much better experience for our users. We’re committed to continuous improvement and making OneDex faster and more reliable.

Exploring the Sui Network
We love pushing boundaries, so this month we built our first demo dApp on the Sui Network. We’ve worked with various platforms like MultiversX, EVM chains, and Solana, but Sui presented a fresh challenge. The journey was exciting and full of learning, especially with Sui’s unique Object Model, which treats everything as objects, making transactions incredibly fast and smooth.
We developed an NFT marketplace from scratch on Sui, diving into the Move programming language. Move is similar to Rust but has its unique features. The documentation was a bit tricky to navigate, but we managed to find our way. We had to get creative with storage solutions and dynamic fields to manage data efficiently without hiking up gas costs.
This project was about pushing ourselves to learn new skills and explore Sui’s potential. The experience was rewarding, and we’re eager to continue building on Sui.
Testing OneFinityChain
Our first Testnet event for OneFinityChain demonstrated its performance as the highest performing EVM chain yet. We stress-tested the chain live, and it held up exceptionally well under pressure. Next month, developers will be able to deploy EVM applications that interact directly with WASM Smart Contracts. We’re excited about the upcoming phase of Testnet events and the surprises we have in store.

PvP Launch on MateriaPrimaRPG
We just launched the PvP system on MateriaPrimaRPG, now available on xPortalApp. This means players can now engage in 1vs1 battles, climb leaderboards, earn XP and Arena Points, and win rewards. The introduction of weekly and season leaderboards adds a competitive edge, and we’re just getting started. This launch marks a new chapter for MateriaPrimaRPG, and we’re excited to see the community dive in.
Engaging with the Community
We were thrilled to participate in the first-ever Solana Romanian Developer Program organized by Comets of Web3 and the Solana Foundation. This event was a fantastic opportunity to learn, share knowledge, and collaborate with fellow developers. The sessions covered a wide range of topics, from blockchain fundamentals to advanced development techniques, and provided invaluable insights.
Our team also attended EthCC in Paris, where we met incredible developers and expanded our network. EthCC provided a platform to share ideas and establish our presence in the web3 space, which was invaluable. The discussions and interactions we had there will undoubtedly influence our future projects.
We had a great time at the xAllianceDAO event, connecting with builders, founders, and web3 enthusiasts. Sharing alpha, pitching concepts, and making new friends was inspiring and has fueled our passion for building together. The vibe was fantastic, and we left with renewed energy and ideas for the future.
A special thanks to Federatia Tech for inviting us to CryptoMondays Bucharest. Our co-founder, Alex Jilavu, spoke alongside industry leaders about the relevance of memecoins and the technical aspects of launching them. The discussions on counteracting trading bots and other market challenges were particularly insightful and sparked many interesting conversations.
One Year of BurnifyApp
We also celebrated the one-year anniversary of BurnifyApp. Over the past year, we’ve seen impressive volumes, burned a significant amount of tokens and NFTs, rewarded our community with EGLD and BFY, and listed various ESDTs and NFT collections. Here’s a snapshot of our journey together:
• Protocol volumes exceeded $2.1 million.
• Over $1.05 million worth of tokens burned.
• 3,200+ NFTs burned.
• 17,418 EGLD rewards distributed.
• Minted 2,486,958 BFY (with a max supply of 5 million, expected to be reached in the next 61 years).
• 55+ ESDTs listed.
• 60+ NFT collections listed.
It’s been an incredible year of growth and achievement, and we’re excited to continue this journey with our community.
July was packed with activities and accomplishments, and we’re looking forward to what the next month brings.
