We worked with the Umbrella Network team to bring their oracle infrastructure into the MultiversX ecosystem—delivering the first on-chain data feeds like EGLD-USD and USDT-USD, designed specifically for the needs of local DeFi builders.
What We Built
Porting an EVM-native oracle system into MultiversX wasn’t a copy-paste job. We rebuilt the architecture from the ground up, adapting core mechanics to a chain with different primitives and execution logic. We designed a modular smart contract system that handles on-chain publishing, off-chain aggregation, and validator input—engineered for low gas consumption, high throughput, and seamless composability.
Compatibility
The biggest challenge? Translating EVM assumptions into MultiversX-native implementations without compromising data integrity or speed. We optimized the oracle flow to work within MultiversX’s unique state model and handled validator consensus logic without relying on familiar EVM tools.
Our goal wasn’t just to make it work—it was to make it usable. We exposed clean interfaces for dApp developers, tested extreme edge cases, and documented the entire structure. Builders now have direct access to trustworthy price feeds without having to manage external dependencies.
